Students in the Innovative Medical Technology program are prepared for entry into the laboratory setting of the health care industry.
During the first year, students learn medical terminology as well as safety and patient care skills, and they gain hands-on experience with blood draws and testing.
During the second year, students focus on advanced phlebotomy training, clinical laboratory skills, and medical assisting.
