This career and technical education program is designed to develop entry-level skills for students interested in the healthcare industry. The curriculum in based on the Nastional Healthcare Standards.
The junior year concentrates on healthcare safety, professionalism, medical terminology, career choices, anatomy and physiology, medical assisting, sports medicine, nutrition.
The senior year combines advanced technical skills, leadership, critical thinking, and decision making. These skills are applied at various facilities in the community.
