Ohio Department of Higher Education (ODHE) Short Term Certificate Grant
The Ohio Department of Higher Education (ODHE) will distribute funding (up to $2,000) for needs-based students who are enrolled in an Ohio Technical Center in a short-term program that leads to an industry credential in a high demand occupation.
Receive up to $2,000 to cover the cost of tuition for the following programs at the Pike County Career Technology Center:
Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
Medical Assistant
Nursing Assistant
Phlebotomy
Students must meet all program admission requirements and be admitted into the program.
Students must meet the income eligibility guidelines – income under 300% of the federal poverty guidelines.
Each student may receive a maximum of 3 awards for 3 different eligible programs. Students must complete one program prior to receiving another award.
