Adult Education Director's Message
Welcome to the Pike County Career Technology Center

It is a pleasure to work in Adult Education at one of the finest learning institutions in southern Ohio. Affording adult learners the opportunity to achieve or enhance their academic and career skills is considered by our school’s administration, faculty, and staff as a very essential element in supporting our local community’s economic development. We believe that life-long learning leads to life-changing results.

Our Adult Learning Center is structured into two areas of service, Adult Workforce Education and Adult Basic & Literacy Education (ABLE). Adult Workforce Education consists of career enhancement and development courses selected to help those in the community obtain significant employment by providing them the opportunity to gain or enhance their career skills. These programs are generally offered in the evening and are tuition based.

Adult Basic & Literacy Education (ABLE) is a free service to anyone 18 years of age and older. Participants in the program are afforded the chance at obtaining their GED or enhancing their basic academic skills.
