ABLE:    Adult Basic & Literacy Education

ABLE provides adult learners in the community with a FREE opportunity to improve their basic academic skills or earn their GED.

Classes start every Monday and are open to anyone 18 years of age and older.

 

In ABLE you can

 

…Prepare for the GED Test.

 

…Prepare for the pre-entrance examination for the Pharm. Tech. or Practical Nursing programs.

 

…Obtain reading, writing, and arithmetic skills needed to get or keep a job.

 

…Prepare for post-secondary courses and admissions testing.

 

…Prepare for pre-employment testing.

 

…Take the Official GED Practice Test.

 

…Acquire basic academic skills to help your children with their homework.

 

 

GED Test

Free GED preparation classes are available at each ABLE site. Students who pass the Official GED Practice Test in the ABLE program are eligible to receive a fee waiver that will waive the Official GED Test fee of $55.00.
